Pokemon has its origins in the physical world of gaming, namely role-playing whereby small teams of monsters battle other monsters with the aim of becoming the best. There are various types of Pokemon such as water and fire, each with different strengths. As the monster evolve, they grow stronger and gain additional skills. During 2006, Pokemon found a new hone, this time in the world of the video game housed inside the ever-popular handheld console such as Nintendos DS. In 2013 Pokemon debuted on the Nintendo 3DS.
