When you browse our website, Shopify (the software used to create our store) automatically receives your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address. Your IP address helps us to learn about your browser and operating system and your location (this helps with fraud prevention). The rules and regulations relating to GDPR now include your IP address as your personal information. Your IP address is not used by us to identify you nor is it used to contact you. In fact, we only get to know which region, city and town your computer connection is in and the time and date that your connection is made to visit our store. We don't get to know anything about you (such as your name, etc.) Generally speaking, it's not really anything about you that we get to know, it's more about where and when your computer is when connecting to our store, via the internet. If you would like information on what Shopify do with this information, please visit:

When you wish to place your order, you will be taken to our checkout page, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the following personal information from you:

  2. Your billing address
  3. Your delivery address (if this differs from your billing address)
  4. Your email address

Once you are happy with our order and wish to pay us, you will need to click on one of the payment buttons. Once you click on a payment button, you will be taken to a secure checkout page provided by PayPal. At no point do we (dinkybox) have access to your payment details nor do we store your payment details. The only information we will collect is how you have paid (i.e. via PayPal) and whether your billing address is the same as your delivery address. If your PayPal account has a different billing name we will be able to see this information and if your email differs from the one supplied we will receive this information also. We can also gain information to confirm whether or not your payment is protected by PayPal's seller protection policy (your payment is automatically protected if your billing and delivery address has been verified and confirmed by PayPal and is within the UK and (most importantly) if this information matches the billing information supplied by you, with your order ).
PLEASE NOTE: If your billing name differs to the delivery name or if your PayPal email address differs to your supplied order email address dinkybox reserves the right to cancel your order and refund your payment in full, at which point an email will be sent to you to confirm the cancellation of your order.

This information is supplied by you, in order for us to take your payment and dispatch your purchase. We may, on occasion use your email address to notify you of any issues relating to your purchase such as a product becomes out of stock, if a part refund has been made, if an order has been cancelled or to confirm your delivery address if you have opted to have your purchase sent to a different address to your billing address or if your billing/delivery address seems incomplete or incorrect. We may also email you if there are any other issues/concerns with your purchase or delivery. We will not and do not use your email address for marketing purposes unless you have specifically opted to receive our newsletter.
